The absolute BEST place to eat Chinese cuisine on the Northwest side of Dayton! The egg drop soup is divine and the wonton soup is great! The food is prepared freshly and the dining atmosphere is fantastic. You CAN NOT go wrong dining here!

Just like their other locations. What was once a solid choice has become far too $$ oriented. Service is hot or miss at best. Portion size gets smaller each time while taste / execution have gone now mainstream - just a sit down version of all the little takeout only places. No thanks. If you're willing to stray from the ooey-gooey, brown sauce centric, "Chinese" of Dayton, try one of the local Vietnamese place, so much lighter, true flavor, numerous techniques in way of preparation with actually fresh ingredients... Sorry, unless they stop up their game exponentially, I won't go again.

Great food here. I've never dined in, carry-out has always been super fast and friendly. I love this place. The price is great for the food quality/quantity. They offer many specials and have a fantastic wine selection. You can buy a bottle from them.

this is the first asian restaurant ive been to where when you order a shrimp dish, its PACKED with shrimp. definitely a fantastic price and the food is great.

I'm not from Dayton so we only get China Cottage when we come to visit. It never disappoints. Great crab rangoon great shrimp rolls. Those are the main things I want to eat the entire time. He gets Cottage dumplings and he enjoys them greatly. Always our first stop when we are in town.

Great .they could add the hot pepper soonerto make the 🔥 hot dish spicy.hot. Otherwise Excellent.

Excellent food. It's hard to find a Chinese restaurant that prides itself of its cooking. Most just pile food onto a buffet. Not here. If you're in the area try this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

Mala Chicken is really good and flavorful. Stays hot on a 25 minute drive home.

I don't know if it's because they are only doing carryout, but my sweet-and-sour chicken was chewy, like it wasn't cooked fresh. Disappointed.

My wife and I was visiting from Columbus and stopped by this restaurant. We did a search and saw all of the positive reviews and I'm actually glad to say that the reviews were on point and did not disappoint!! The food was very delicious and I can't wait to come back the next time we're in town!!

Good food, decent portions. However, if you plan on ordering takeout, don't expect plastic ware, fortune cookies or even napkins for that matter. They ARE NOT provided, according to the manager! After spending over $50, I was told "No, no, we never give napkin or fork!" And after expressing my dismay and reminding her of how much I had spent, she replied, "Nooo, only maybe if you ask. Sorry. "

Offers the same menu items found in most Chinese restaurants yet dishes are made with a completely different flair. The hot and sour soup is the best ive had in Ohio too.

Excellent egg drop soup, very warming! Spring roll was top notch as well, wanted another, but waited for my shredded pork in garlic sauce, which was great. Plenty leftover for lunch.Atmosphere was chill and server was pleasant. Will come back!

Dining area was clean. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and happily not soaked in grease. Lunch price was reasonable for the portion size. I would recommend this restaurant and would eat there again.

This place is awesome. It’s cute, cozy, and has a good lunch menu. Me and my boyfriend come here all the time and the staff is super nice.
